Alan Davies' Signature Pack of brushes
Alan was Carl Hester's and Charlotte Dujardin's international travelling groom, with Valegro, Uthopia, Nip Tuck, Gio and Freestyle.
He now is a freelance groom who enjoys spending time with his shetlands and ponies.
Alan has clocked up many thousands of air and road miles, travelling the world to Olympic Games and World and European Championships. Alan's attention to detail and devotion to his charges has earned him recognition wherever he goes; now known as 'super groom' he has helped demonstrate the rewards and enjoyment of being a career groom.
In 2015 he was awarded Team GB Groom of the Year and in 2016 won the Horse & Hound Groom of the Year award.
In 2016, Alan developed his own range of brushes which became available in early 2017! The pack consists of eight most-needed brushes to turn your horse out to the highest possible standard at the show. All brushes are extremely soft, so they can be used on any type of coat or colour of a horse!
Pack include nine items:
- Alan Davies Unique All-Rounder - is a rubber brush that removes all hair from clothes, rugs, and numnahs. Either with a black or blue handle. (only in standard version with all-rounder)
- Alan Davies Mr Flicky - flicker brush to remove residue of dust and shavings from the coat, mane or tail.
- Alan Davies Polisher - A polishing brush that removes final dust and makes the horses shiny! No need for a towel!
- Alan Davies Face Brush - a small brush that has very soft but effective natural horsehair bristles. Horses love it!
- Alan Davies Quarter Marker - have you dreamt of quarter marks like Valegro? Now it is so easy with this Quarter Marker! Pssst is also amazing for making the coat shine!
- Alan Davies Stud brush - hoof pick designed to clean the stud holes and properly clean frogs.
- Alan Davies Mr Glossy - Very soft long natural horse hair has been used for this brush to help make your horse the shiniest in the ring!
- Alan Davies's unique Curry Comb.
- Alan Davies Grooming Bag is polishing cloth and only comes with the Standard Cardboard Pack

Use the pack in the following order:
- Alan Davies Curry Comb - curry with and against the hair. This curry is very soft inside and hard on the outside, so it is great even on the most sensitive horses. Removes dirt, mud, and shedding hair!
- Alan Davies Mr Flicky - flicker brush to remove residue of dust and shavings from the coat, mane or tail.
- Alan Davies Mr Glossy - Use in a circular motion to remove any dirt from within the coat and then use it as a normal brush.
